​Embody creative grace, nurtured by a community of soulful women, as you explore diverse modalities of self-expression and innovation to align your mind, body and spirit with your New Year’s intentions.  From whatever walk of life, come as you are, rekindle your inner fire and open yourself to unknown possibilities that await fruition on your fresh canvas of life. 
 
 In the quaint artistic town of Ojai, CA, we’ll nourish and inspire your whole being with daily yoga and meditation, deliciously healthy homemade meals, an evening of wine, music and painting, an introduction to lucid dream yoga (a gateway to your subconscious mind), guided freedom movement, nature walks, free time for personal reflection, group connection and more.  Nestled in Mother Nature, our private weekend sanctuary provides options to roam freely through fruit and vegetable orchards or to take a 15-minute walk downtown to immerse yourself in local culture visiting art galleries, eateries, coffee shops, wine tasting and hiking trails. 
 
While group activities are lovingly handpicked for your progressive multi-sensory enjoyment, you are encouraged to follow your heart, listen to your body and breathe vibrantly where the moment inspires you.   Treat yourself to an uplifting weekend to re-inspire you into the New Year, sharing the best of yourself with the world around you.

Meet Your Weekend Angels...

Paola Karina Cardona is a Certified Upeksha Yoga instructor (actively for 10 years) & AiReal yoga instructor (actively for 2 years). She received a Bachelor’s in Theater Dance Performing Studies from UCB in 2008 and recently completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.   Experiencing lucid dreaming since childhood, Paola pursued the study further as an adult and was granted a scholarship to work under Stephen LaBerge at the “Dream and Awakening” workshop/retreat in the Big Island Hilo, Hawaii.  Paola's deep passion for dance, yoga, and love for human psychology  has led her to integrate these art forms in her teachings.   Connect with Paola at: LunaLoveSC.Weebly.com.    

Dream Yoga with Paola will introduce lucid dreaming with a guided meditation in Savasana and Yin Yoga practice.  We will learn tools to bridge our sleep and waking life, by cultivating the stream of consciousness to connect us deeper into our imagination and create endless possibilities through the power of visualization and other methods. To help loosen the grasp of our  fears and perceptions of reality, we will explore our emotions and  senses, opening our minds as we paint on our personal canvas of life.

Michelle Chua is a RYT Certified Alignment-Based Breath-Led Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher since 2010. She earned a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies with Art Emphasis and CA Teaching Credential from CSUN, taught elementary school both in CA and abroad for over 6 years, and has danced professionally since 2001.  She integrates her love for movement, study of mindfulness and ongoing yoga professional development to facilitate mentally expanding, spiritually enriching and physically strengthening yoga classes for various ability levels.  Morning Yoga will be an invigorating Mixed-Level Vinyasa Flow and Evening Yoga will relax and restore you after a light flow.  All sessions will include a few minutes of guided meditation and/or journaling and breath work.  

Michelle is delightfully honored to welcome Paola, her creative soul sister, to share her nurturing gift of healing on this retreat.  She is also excited to invite Britt to nourish our minds, bodies and souls through delicious gourmet meals, inspired by Hippocrates' words, "Let food be thy medicine," and Michelle's personal motto, "Happy your belly!" :-)

Chef Britt Moore holds a 200 hour Yoga & Ayurveda Specialist certification from Dancing Shiva Yoga & Ayurveda, a Yoga Alliance registered school.  Having studied  nutrition, ethnic dance, and medicine, she is inspired to share ethnic and eclectic cooking that is healthy and fulfilling with out compromising flavor, while raising awareness of the amazing healing, clarifying and energizing powers of high vibrational foods.  Connect with Britt at: GalaxyPharaoh.com

Ojai Valley is a tranquil cradle for artists and nature lovers.

Our private sanctuary, Ojai Love Center, is nestled in Mother Nature on acres of land growing fruit and vegetable orchards, with peaceful spots around the property for personal reflection or mingling with new friends.  We're 15-minutes walk to Downtown Ojai.

How to Register

$250 Non-Refundable Deposit reserves your chosen accommodation and space on this retreat upon registration.  Your full balance is due January 1st.  Your registration fee includes 5 catered meals (Friday dinner through Sunday brunch), daily yoga and movement classes, lucid dream yoga workshop, freedom movement session, guided group reflection activities, accommodation, all amenities (bedding, towels, toiletries, etc.) at Ojai Love Center, wine and painting materials and an uplifting weekend with supportive creative women.  Not included are your transportation to and from the retreat center and any additional activities, such as massage, wine tasting, etc, you choose to do on your free time.
