Our sanctuary is Ojas Retreat Center, nestled on a serene hilltop in Santa Rosa Plateau, California, near Temecula Valley Wine Country. Ojas is Sanskrit for essence of vitality or vigor, evoked by its panoramic mountain views, airy pristine rooms and hybrid of indoor and outdoor dining and lounge areas, including a spacious yoga pavilion, fully equipped with props and an open-air option. Gathering spaces abound throughout the garden and decks, with a fire pit, indoor private hot tub, outdoor community hot tub and outdoor swimming pool. Nearby are the Santa Rosa Ecological Reserve, the Cleveland National Forest hiking trails, vineyards and horseback riding.

*Daily Yoga classes will explore and integrate Yoga's tools for inner peace, including the Niyamas, or observances.
**Free Time could include booking a massage or Reiki session with a visiting bodyworker (at an additional price), soaking in the hot tubs, taking a cold plunge in the pool, lounging in the communal areas with new friends, journaling, reading a book, walking along the nearby trail or rejuvenating with an afternoon nap.

Retreat Host & Yoga Facilitator
Inspired to support whole-being wellness, Michelle Chua is a lifelong student, Registered Yoga Teacher and Founder of Root 2 Rise Yoga, based in Hollywood, CA. Lover of creative flow and nature, Michelle offers weekly yoga classes integrating meditation, breathwork, yoga philosophy and psychology, mindful movement and postures and nature immersion. Guest Facilitator for Yogic Mantra & Music |
A longtime practitioner of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga, Trevor Arthur was first introduced to kirtan by his teacher, Tim Miller of Encinitas, a great Hanuman devotee. Trevor has studied at the Ramakrishna Seminary at Kali Mandir and at the Kriya Tantra Institute at Yogini Ashram. He has received initiation into Kriya Kundalini Pranayam and Mantra diksha from Swami Ayappa Giri. He hosts bi-weekly kirtans at Yoga on State, in Carlsbad, where he also teaches pranayama and asana, and he offers individual chanting and harmonium mentorship, as well as private mantric sound-bath healing sessions. Accommodations & Investment for 4-Day Retreat Guests:
Choose single or shared accommodations in the following rooms. In double and triple occupancy rooms, guests must register (one registration form per person) with their pre-selected roommate. Rooms include comfortable beds with organic cotton sheets. All the showers include organic shampoo, conditioner and soap that are kind to the earth. Purified drinking water runs through all the faucets.

This airy room has up to 5 single beds sharing a balcony with mountain views and a large restroom with a shower and additional indoor hot tub. This room is for individuals identifying themselves as women.

On the ground floor, this spacious room has a private entry to the garden and rests beside the lotus pond. A private bathroom with shower is shared among this room's occupants. This room can be shared with individuals of any gender.
