Itinerary
This itinerary is provided in good faith and is subject to change due to weather conditions, group pace and needs, and the availability of sites and activities. Our days will unfold between sacred sites, quiet Himalayan views, lakeside paths, cultural markets, nourishing local cuisine and moments of shared practice. The flow below offers a general rhythm of our days together. A detailed itinerary with specific times and locations will be shared with registered participants closer to the retreat.
Day 1 | Arrival & Grounding
Arrive in Kathmandu and meet your retreat community at the airport. Travel together beyond the city’s bustle to a serene Tibetan-style monastery hotel nestled in nature. If time allows, enjoy a guided walk to the sacred Asura and Yenglesho caves—power places of meditation and awakening. We gather in the evening for dinner and an opening circle to set intentions for our journey into Sacred Harmony.

Day 2 | Devotion, Wisdom & Living Art
Wake to Himalayan valley views and the sounds of monks’ prayer. Begin with Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation, followed by breakfast. Deepen your understanding of Tibetan Buddhism through a discourse with a senior monk on the rare Nyingdo tradition.
In the afternoon, explore the UNESCO-listed city of Patan, known as the “City of Fine Arts.” Wander ancient monasteries and temples, visit the palace museum, and witness artisans at work. Return to the monastery hotel for dinner and rest.

Days 3–4 | Mountains, Sacred Sound & Inner Resonance
After morning practice, fly to Pokhara, enjoying panoramic views of the Himalayas. Continue to a luxury yoga retreat center surrounded by nature trails and lake vistas.
These days invite deep nourishment through organic Ayurvedic meals, daily Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Sound Healing, Nada Yoga (Yoga of Sound) and Bhakti Yoga (mantra chanting). Relax by the pool or sauna, book a massage, hike nearby trails, or enjoy outings to local cultural sites.
After morning practice, fly to Pokhara, enjoying panoramic views of the Himalayas. Continue to a luxury yoga retreat center surrounded by nature trails and lake vistas.

In the evening, experience a heartfelt cultural exchange as the local Mothers’ Group (Aama Samuha) shares traditional song and dance—celebrating women’s empowerment and community harmony.

In the evening, gather for an introduction to Bon Shamanism, the ancient indigenous spiritual tradition that predates Tibetan Buddhism, with the possibility of receiving a ceremonial blessing from a local shaman.

Day 8 | Sacred Sites of Hinduism & Buddhism
Morning Yoga by the lake, then fly back to Kathmandu. Visit two profound UNESCO heritage sites:

- Pashupatinath, one of the most sacred Shiva temples, where life, death, and devotion meet along the river.
- Boudhanath Stupa, the heart of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal, surrounded by monasteries and prayer-filled streets. Join the evening butter-lamp offering and enjoy dinner in a Tibetan restaurant.
Day 9 | Living History & Celebration
Practice Yoga in the spiritual atmosphere of Boudhanath, enjoy breakfast and then travel to Bhaktapur, a beautifully preserved medieval city. Wander timeless squares, pottery lanes, and traditional art workshops. Savor local cuisine at a local restaurant for lunch.
Later, explore Thamel’s vibrant streets before gathering for a traditional Nepali farewell dinner with cultural performances—a joyful celebration of shared experience.
